For everyday cleaning, use a warm, damp cloth. Mild detergent can be used but isn't necessary. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive scrubbing pads, or vigorous scrubbing — these can compromise the sealant and surface. Never use bleach, vinegar, ammonia, lemon, or orange-based cleaners.
While our concrete basins are designed to handle water exposure, prolonged standing water can leave marks. Dry the surface after use, especially around the drain and edges. Water marks should naturally fade over time as long as no acidic substances are involved. We recommend not leaving the basin filled with water for more than 4 hours.
Wipe up spills promptly — including soap, oils, bath products, wine, or coffee. Our concrete is treated with a densifier, polished, and sealed to protect against liquid damage, but prompt wiping prevents staining or discoloration.
We offer three finishes: Travertine Finish (hand-packed dry mix creating beautiful veins, pits and voids — a buttery textured showpiece aesthetic), Pressed and Boned (customisable concrete and bone/vein colour with beautiful veins and voids), and our Standard Smooth Finish (a sleek low sheen or satin finish).

Vallee offers a 12-month warranty on the structural integrity of the concrete. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. It does not cover lack of maintenance, accidental damage, chemical damage, scratches from improper use, thermal shock, excessive pressure, or extended water exposure. To make a warranty claim, notify Vallee in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect.

It provides durable, long-lasting protection against everyday use. While concrete requires more care than ceramic or laminate, our sealer ensures your bath or basin stands the test of time.
Yes. Although concrete is durable, accidental chips or scratches can occur, particularly along edges. These imperfections can often be polished out or repaired by a Vallee artisan to restore the smooth finish.
