Vallee Limited Warranty
Every Vallee piece is made by hand, to order. We stand behind the quality of our work — and our lifetime structural warranty reflects that confidence.
Structural Integrity - Lifetime Warranty
Vallee warrants the structural integrity of all concrete pieces for the lifetime of the product under normal residential use. This covers cracking, delamination, and structural failure that is not the result of impact, mishandling, dropping, or improper installation.
This lifetime warranty does not cover:
- Damage occurring during transit or delivery
- Chips, breaks, or cracks caused by impact or dropping
- Damage resulting from improper installation, including incorrect waste fittings or inadequate structural support
- Damage caused by misuse, chemical exposure, or external forces
Surface & Sealer — 12 Month Warranty
The surface finish and sealer are warranted for 12 months from the date of delivery or collection against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use.
If a confirmed defect is found within this period, Vallee will — at our sole discretion — repair or replace the defective component. Transport costs for warranty replacements are covered by Vallee.
What Is Not Covered (Surface & Sealer)
- Lack of maintenance — failure to follow the Vallee Care Guide
- Accidental damage — drops, impacts, chips, or mishandling
- Unauthorised alterations — any repair or resealing by a third party
- Chemical damage — bleach, vinegar, ammonia, acidic or abrasive cleaners
- Thermal shock — hot objects placed directly on the surface without trivets
- Excessive pressure — sitting, standing, or force beyond normal use
- Scratches and surface wear — sealers are scratch-tolerant, not scratch-proof
- Extended water exposure — filling the bath for more than 4 hours continuously
- Commercial use — surface wear in commercial settings is not covered
- Natural material variation — tonal variation, pinholes and laitance are not defects
How to Make a Claim
- Notify Vallee in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect
- The defect must fall within the applicable warranty period
- Vallee must be permitted to inspect the piece — in person or via photographs
- The product must have been paid for in full
- The defect must be confirmed in writing by Vallee before any remedy is provided
Claims will not be accepted where the piece has been modified or repaired without prior written approval from Vallee.
Upon Delivery or Collection
From the moment your Vallee piece is delivered or collected, the customer assumes full responsibility for its care. We strongly recommend inspecting your piece upon arrival and contacting us immediately with any concerns before installation.
Limitation of Liability
This limited warranty is the sole warranty provided by Vallee. Vallee is not liable for special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind — including personal injury or financial loss. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
